Headteacher's Bulletin

Posted 3/4/2018

Easter is upon us! Welcome to this week’s bulletin. The term has been a highly successful one. As usual I feel that the term has passed incredibly quickly.

Hopefully you will have received this half term’s celebration newsletter - it is wonderful to see just how much we have packed in to both this period and into this lovely document itself. I hope you enjoy reading it! Thank to everyone who contributed to this super newsletter.

Staffing update: On Tuesday we said a goodbye to Mrs Scott and thanked her for her hard work in Neptune class. Mrs Scott was presented with flowers and a gift of appreciation in assembly. We also welcomed Mrs Filbee to the staff team on Monday; Mrs Filbee will be working in Neptune class until the summer holidays. Welcome aboard!

Miss Stringer, our acting Deputy Headteacher ends her secondment today too. Her super, contributions and hard work have been a real benefit to our school over this term and are very much appreciated by me and the team. On a personal level I am extremely grateful for her support, proactiveness and positive professionalism. Thank you Miss   Stringer! It’s Been a pleasure working with you. Thank you! I know we will keep in touch.

Linked to this, I am pleased to inform you that we have advertised this week for our new Deputy Headteacher and we are  aiming to appoint in early May for a September start. Exciting times! This is a key appointment to help support the progress we are making.
