Bulletin – Term 3 Week 10

Posted 22/6/2018

Hello and welcome to our weekly bulletin.

I write this week’s edition from the Educational Festival, at Wellington college. This is a rich opportunity to hear the latest key information from national figures in the education sector.

Earlier in the week I was delighted to announce that Dr Helen Snowden will continue as our chair of     governors moving forward. This is great news for our school! Helen approaches the role with a strong moral compass, energy, passion and with huge commitment to our school. I am grateful for her            continued support and challenge.

In school, the highlight of my week once involved Venus class when they continued their Archie project work, holding afternoon tea for older community members on Wednesday afternoon. What a wonderful event that was “better than Betty’s”. I was incredibly proud of the year 5 team (pupils and staff) - well done all!

Next week I will be communicating more to you about our recent Ofsted and sharing outcomes.

Please do return our academic resilience survey. We are grateful for your feedback.

We look forward to sports day next week and Tuesday weather pending.

Have a good weekend

Thanks for your interest and continued support.

Kind Regards

Jon Watson
